Paris Beaugrenelle

Beaugrenelle, a contemporary architectural landscape in Paris
Located on the banks of the Seine, the Beaugrenelle district in the 15th arrondissement of Paris is a remarkable example of post-Corbusian slab architecture from the 1970s. Its modern urban landscape consists of high-rise buildings with glass facades and assertive lines, offering open views of the capital and a very graphic reading of the city.
For an architectural photographer, Beaugrenelle represents a particularly rich photographic playground. The imposing volumes, the repetition of forms, the reflections of the glass and the vertical perspectives allow for the exploration of a minimalist and urban approach to photography, where composition and lines structure the image as much as the subject itself.
Through this gallery, I offer a photographer's perspective on this iconic neighborhood, highlighting the relationships between contemporary architecture, urban landscape, and visual abstraction. Beaugrenelle thus becomes a space for photographic experimentation, revealing an often overlooked aesthetic of 1970s Parisian architecture.
