Photographic reports for businesses and local authorities
The photographic reports presented here bear witness to work carried out in the field, closely observing places, people, and practices. Whether produced for businesses, artisans, restaurants, or local stakeholders, these reports reflect a narrative and sensitive approach to photography, attentive to context and detail.
They are both independent projects and natural extensions of my approach as an author-photographer.
Reportage as visual storytelling
A photo report is not simply about illustrating an activity or a place. It is primarily about constructing a visual narrative, capable of capturing an atmosphere, a rhythm, and a lived reality. This approach prioritizes observation, immersion, and a keen eye, rather than staging or a pre-packaged image.
Each report is conceived as a coherent sequence of images, where the photographs interact with each other to tell a complete story.
Businesses, craftsmen and living spaces
Businesses, micro-enterprises, SMEs, craftspeople, and venues open to the public all use photojournalism to document their activities, showcase their expertise, or provide a glimpse into their work environment. These projects take place in a wide variety of settings: workshops, restaurants, shops, construction sites, markets, and public spaces.
The goal is not to produce generic images, but to offer a faithful and embodied interpretation, respectful of the identity of the places and people photographed.
An authorial approach, even within the context of reportage.
Even when it adheres to a specific framework, the reportage reflects an authorial approach. The choice of framing, lighting, image rhythm, and photographic processing contributes to a personal visual style, consistent with all the series presented on this site.
These reports can thus engage in dialogue with more artistic projects, fostering reflections on the city, work, uses, or contemporary transformations.
Projects that can be part of partnerships
Some reports are part of larger projects developed in partnership, particularly with local authorities, institutions, or cultural stakeholders. In this context, the report can become a tool for promotion, mediation, or transmission, beyond its immediate use.
